Resource Planning Summit

Meet me in St. Louis!

The #1 conference for Resource Planning is coming to St. Louis, MO. On 06/11/2023 - 06/14/2023, at the beautiful THE LAST HOTEL! The Resource Planning Summit registrants are already pouring in, and we are looking forward to providing a gateway arch for you to a wealth of resource planning knowledge and networking opportunities!

About RPS

This annual two-and-a-half-day event is an invigorating meeting of the minds for industry experts and Resource Planning professionals at all levels.

How would your company address the following?

  • Multiple organizational units are competing for the same resources

  • Low resource planning maturity is derailing key initiatives

  • Ad-hoc staff planning is contributing to poor AOP forecasting

  • Management thinks resource planning doesn't matter in an Agile environment

  • HR, Finance, & the PMO all claim to own the resource system of record

At RPS, you can gain breakthrough insights into these Resource Management and Planning topics and more!

Note: Project Management Professionals can earn up to 20 PDUs!

RPS events are always held in a popular tourist destination with unique and fun evening activities, such as the Cirque du Soleil Ka show in Las Vegas, Grand Ole Opry in Nashville; a Bourbon St. marching band trip to Pat O’Brien’s in New Orleans; Rockefeller Center Loft & Garden Rooftop (with dinner, games and entertainment), The George Jones Museum for an evening of music and Texas barbecue, and lots more. Since our inaugural RPS in 2009 in Chicago, we’ve been to cities such as La Jolla, New Orleans, New York City (at the Intrepid Sea and Air & Space Museum), Austin, Nashville, and other exciting hot spots.

As the premier thought leadership gathering for promoting best practices in resource management, demand management, and capacity planning, and how all these disciplines are critical to exemplary strategy and project execution, The Resource Planning Summit is always a can’t-miss event.

And did we say it’s fun, too?

About
the The Venue

This year for RPS, we will be at the beautiful venue called:

THE LAST HOTEL STL

The Last Hotel STL is a 4 star boutique hotel in St. Louis with a unique story and architecture.

BUILT INSIDE THE HISTORICAL INTERNATIONAL SHOE CO. BUILDING

The Last Hotel STL has a wealth of history and endlessly interesting architecture. The International Shoe Company was founded in 1892 in St. Louis, and the boutique The Last Hotel STL embodies the preservation, restoration, and reinvention of the area. The iconic building, originally opened in 1909, boasts elaborate stone carvings, ornate metalwork and terrazzo floors all in Neoclassical and Art Deco styles. The Last Hotel STL comes alive with renewed energy by forging a marriage of historic details and modern interiors, while nodding to a bygone era. The Last Hotel STL, located in the heart of St. Louis near the Washington Avenue Garment District, is continuing the growth and culture of downtown St. Louis.

Networking & Learning Opportunity

A conference is more than its speakers and venue.  The Resource Planning Summit brings together professionals, authors, executives and managers from all industries, to network, learn from each other, and share experiences.

Project professionals get to connect with like-minded colleagues on how to best utilize and optimize enterprise resource planning, portfolio management strategies, and software across various businesses and industries. This is especially evident during our Speed Networking sessions where conference attendees have an opportunity to meet with three other conference attendees.

Visit our Agenda page for the full set of programming for this past event and prior.

In addition to our lineup of speakers and opportunities to connect, we always have a number of special events lined up for the Resource Planning Summit. This year, you can look forward to the following experiences:

  • Sunday: City Museum - Prepare to be amazed by the City Museum, an artist-built playground that is always evolving and full of weirdly wonderful spaces to explore. This museum has been voted one of USA Today’s Top 10 immersive art experiences in the U.S. Built from the city's history, the St. Louis City Museum is a multi-story funhouse for children and adults alike. You'll also get to participate in a networking event with a scavenger hunt, museum tour, drinks, games, and more.

  • Monday: Cardinals - Catch the St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants game from the comfort of a St. Louis Cardinals Party Suite. You'll get to enjoy a buffet featuring smoked BBQ beef brisket, hot dogs, brats, baked Italian chicken, Caesar salad, pasta salad, nachos & cheese, cookies & brownies. The full bar includes wine, mixed drinks, Budweiser, Bud Select, Bud Light, Goose Island IPA, Shocktop, and Coca-Cola products. As a bonus, you'll have exclusive access to a climate-controlled social area.

  • Tuesday: Anheuser Busch - Take a tour of the Stables, Historic Brewhouse, and Beechwood Aging Cellars & Schoolhouse at the Anheuser Busch Brewery. You'll also get to meet and greet one of the famous Budweiser Clydesdales and snap a photo with them. To cap off the evening, enjoy dinner, drinks, live music, and fun in the outdoor Biergarten.
